An ancient city, Antalya has only recently become a popular holiday destination. This Turkish city offers a wealth of mosques and monuments of outstanding beauty as well as a diverse range of activities. Antalya visitors enjoy skiing, water-sports, mountain climbing, underwater cave spotting and stories of Alexander the Great.
Places to visit while here might include the 125ft stunning brick minaret of Yivli Minare, which has become known as a symbol of the city. A must see for tourists to the area is that of Hadrian's Gate. Dating back as far as 130AD, this is one of the top attractions in Antalya.
